ADT Fire & Security will host a free CPD seminar at this year’s M&E - The Building Services Event to provide visitors with current information on UK Fire Legislation. The experienced ADT Fire & Security team will also be on hand to demonstrate and discuss the benefits of a fully integrated approach to fire safety and security.
The CPD seminar will be presented by Martin Harvey from ADT Fire & Security in his role as Chairman of the Fire Industry Association. The seminar will provide a summary of the history of fire legislation and an overview of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2009.
The seminar will take place in the CPD Theatre on Thursday 8th October at 14.30 - 15.15pm
ADT Fire & Security will also be featuring a range of system solutions at the event including its award-winning Modular Intelligent Lighting System (MILS), a unique system that provides evacuation route planning, detection and real time guidance to appropriate exits aiding fast human evacuation.
"Fire and security measures should be a crucial element in the planning and construction process," said Ray Puttock at ADT Fire & Security. "An integrated solution can offer significant cost and labour benefits through cabling, structure and interfacing. It's worthwhile contacting a solutions provider at the earliest stages to discuss the best possible system."
In addition, ADT Fire & Security will be running a competition at the M&E - The Building Services Event for visitors to win an iPod Touch. Simply visit the stand during the event and register your details with the team to be entered into the prize draw.
